 Dr. Velazquez was the driving force behind the Visions of a Better World Conference held on October 10, 2009 at Seton Hall University. The purpose of the conference was to inspire a humanitarian consciousness and to motivate people to "do something" to create a better world.

This two-day seminar will be held at the Millburn Free Public Library in Millburn, New Jersey and will present a basic overview of the major world religions practiced by the diverse cultures in the State of New Jersey. Organized by the International Jain Sangh and the Spiritual Unity Network.
